E.L.F. Studio Precision Liquid Eyeliner Review

What do I usually use?
Urban Decay Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner

Why do I love the Urban Decay Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner?
It has a super thin and tapered brush, so I have control over the thickness of the line and can create a perfect winged line.  It also lasts 16+ hours.  (I can sleep in it and it'll still be in place when I wake up!)

Why did I decide to try E.L.F. Studio Precision Liquid Eyeliner?
Significant price difference ($3 for E.L.F. versus $19 for Urban Decay)

What did I get from E.L.F. Studio Precision Liquid Eyeliner?
It has a thicker brush that doesn't taper to a point, so I had far less control over the thickness of the line and very little ability to create a pointed wing due to the brush's thickness.  It started flaking after about 6-7 hours.

Will I buy it again?
Probably not.  Only if I found myself in a situation where I had to.

If I find myself in a situation where I can no longer afford to purchase Urban Decay's eyeliner as frequently as I need to I would buy this again, but would still budget to buy the Urban Decay one.  I would use the E.L.F. for over my lash line since I don't mind a thicker line, but would use Urban Decay's to form the wing (and since I'd only be using it for the wing, I'd be using less of it.)

How will I make it useable?
I will probably keep it in my travel makeup bag or in my desk at work for emergency touch ups.  (Which pretty much never needs to happen with the Urban Decay liner.)

E.L.F. Haul (My First and Last)

I see "haul" videos on YouTube all the time where people show off items from shopping sprees they've done at specific stores.  I don't do videos like that, but I assume the concept is transferable to a written/pictoral format like my blog.  So, yeah...  That's what this entry is...  Sort of...  I guess.

Eyes Lips Face (E.L.F. from here on out, since that's what everyone calls it anyway) had a 50% off everything discount on their website in the days after Christmas.  There were some things I wanted to try, but had been leery.  I was concerned about the quality of products that were so incredibly inexpensive, even before the 50% off discount.

Prior to this purchase the only E.L.F. items I owned were the Studio High Definition Powder, the Studio Corrective Concealer, and the Essential Eyeshadow Applicators.

So here is the run-down of all of the E.L.F. cosmetics I now own:

Studio Corrective Concealer
Mineral Concealer (Fair)
Studio High Definition Powder (Translucent)
Mineral Foundation (Fair, Light, and Porcelain)
Mineral Booster

Studio Blush (Tickled Pink, Candid Coral, Mellow Mauve, and Gotta Glow)
Studio Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder (St. Lucia and Antigua)
Studio Bronzer (Cool and Golden)

Studio 80-Piece Day to Night Eyeshadow Palette
Studio Eye Transformer
Studio Precision Liquid Eyeliner

Studio Mineral Powder Brush
Studio Angled Blush Brush
Studio Eye Color Applicators
Essential Eyeshadow Applicators

I'll be commenting on each of these products in separate posts, but I want to throw it out there right now that I probably won't be purchasing most of these items again.
